My Story
Hello! My name is LaRaine and this is my Scentsy Story. May of 2013 I had my 1st Scentsy party. It all started when I was on facebook one day and saw a Scentsy warmer that I just had to have! I contacted the gal and we talked for a while. She was going to drive about an hour one way to deliever this Scentsy warmer to me. But I didn't want her to spend all the money on gas just to bring me a warmer. So I thought about it and told her I'd have a party. I would just invite some friends over and see what this Scentsy thing is all about. My home party was over $250 in sales. I got a bunch of Scentsy free and half off. I started using it and was hooked! I had another party in July and my sales were even bigger! Plus 5 friends booked parties off of mine. My Scentsy consultant shared the business with me again. She had shared it with me back in May when she found out I was a single mom having a hard time making ends meet. I told her no both times. She said hey you have 5 parties lined up if you want to join today you could make back the start up cost and then some. I told her no I was good with just getting the 5 half offs at my friends parties. A few days later my finances changed for the worse. I didn't know what I was going to do. My youngest was about one and a half. I had no one that could help so I could work a 9-5 job. But I needed to do something. So I called up my Scentsy gal and asked her a bunch of questions. At the end of the call I decided to sign up and use my 5 friends parties as my first parties to start my business. And I am so glad I did! My first party as a consultant was $400. I sold over $500 in my first 15 days with Scentsy. Earning the Shooting Star Bonus. And in my first 3 months I sold over $4,500.00 in Scentsy products. Earning 2 more bonuses! I was able to take care of my childrens needs and be home with them. January 2014 I went back to school to study criminal justice and EMT. Scentsy has helped me reach my dreams and goals. I have now graduatated with honors earning my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement and EMT. Scentsy and Law Enforcement are my passions. I could not do any of this without Jesus Christ and Scentsy.I am a lead consultant and I am growing my Scentsy family (team) and have made a lot of new friends! I have gone on trips and become part of the Scentsy family. And I am able to care for my kids even better now. I love all that Scentsy has to offer! And I couldn't ask for a better business! I love that I can set my own hours and I have so much freedom in that! How many people do you know that get paid to party? That's what I do! If you like to meet new people.
